Description
distance measure is ok, but area measure is too much. Measuring a PLSS Section (should be one square mile-ish) results in 387 square somethings.

PLSS: Public Lands Survey System. Back in the day (mid 1800s) surveyors laid out parcels of 1 mile square ("sections") and subdivided them into four ("quarter sections").
That's why Geomoose's Parcel layer has a lot of square parcels. If you measure one, it will be about 2640 ft (1/2 a mile). And doing an area measure of four of them together should be one square mile. But the value is given as 1550.14 somethings (not sure where I got the 387 somethings).

I did update the code yesterday (after your response, I think) and I believe the measurement is much closer, see #16.

Looks good. I test at Lat 55 to make sure the geodetic scaling was applied. Perfect!
If this is a revisit of #16, please re-open that ticket, I'll close this one as a "duplicate".
