Description 

gdalcopyproj.py is a simple GDAL python script which duplicates the geotransform
and projection metadata from one raster dataset to another. I would be pleased
if you would consider adding it to the GDAL distribution as an example script.

I have checked this script in the gdal/pymod/samples directory.
