GMLAS: CityGML not reading geometry

GMLAS is skipping several attributes, when loading CityGML. This includes the geometries for buildings, for instance.

After some initial investigation with Even Rouault it was found that it has to do with prefixes not being used on the xsd files of several namespaces.

This was found during the GMLAS Workshop at FOSS4G Europe 2017.
