Is it planned to support officially the resampling method GAUSS in one of the next versions?

Hi,
Nothing wrong with your question but it does not really belong into bug tracker. You would have been better to write a mail into gdal-dev mailing list. That would help other GDAL users too because most of us do not follow the tickets.
I can't answer to your question but I think that because of RFC 51 it would become easier to add the support https://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/rfc51_rasterio_resampling_progress that option. Let's wait and see what the real developers answer.
