Description 

Hi,

during conversation raster data with 'gdal_translate'
from Arc/Info Binary Grid
(http://www.ginte.ot.lt/mapserver/input.gif)
to GeoTiff, I get raster with gaps
(http://www.ginte.ot.lt/mapserver/output.gif)
The same problem I have in Mapserver. But in this case,
created PNG/GIF files with gaps. So I decide
that bug can be in GDAL.

This appears to be a problem reading type 0xFF grid blocks.  This was
recently (last two weeks) fixes in GDAL CVS.  Are you in a position to 
building from the CVS source?

I am closing for now.  Please re-open if the new code does not resolve the
problem.
