Description 

We're having a problem when using ogr2ogr to convert gml to shapefile - says 
it can't find the specified driver. Any thoughts there??

Jessica,

OGR needs to be built with Xerces support to read GML files.  Likely that
is what is missing.  What platform are you on?  What binaries are you using?

You might want to try the FWTools binaries which should include Xerces support
so that GML reading will work.
