Description
Create a new Task Pane widget that allows the user to select features from the active layer and reports statistics for those features. Initially, this will be limited to polygon layers and will calculate the cumulative area of selected polygons. The widget itself should have a layer selector, the ability to clear the current selection and automatic updates when the selection changes.
