    12121212This (using an FDO circle in 3D) works for round-tripping and a few special functions such as tessellation.  However, there are several weak points in GIS applications that assume circular arcs to be in the XY plane.  These should be addressed by the time that they add support for more geometry types, assuming that 3D support will be required for all of them.
