#2613 closed bug (duplicate)

Check geometry validity returns non OGC compliant result

Reported by: dr Owned by: borysiasty
Priority: critical: causes crash or data corruption Milestone: Version 1.5.0
Component: Python plugins and bindings Version: Trunk
Keywords: Check, validity Cc: dr, gislab, alexbruy
Must Fix for Release: No Platform: All
Platform Version: Awaiting user input: no

Description

If try to check such polygon: http://gis-lab.info/forum/download/file.php?id=1146 with Check geometry validity tool, it returns "Feature contains an unnested hole", but such type of polygon is OGC compliant. I find this type of polygon in PostGIS manual: http://postgis.refractions.net/docs/ch04.html#OGC_Validity (pic. (i)), it's valid.
