Zoom to selected in attribute table only works if the layer is selected in the layers window

Description
1.) open the attribute table of the layer A
2.) select a row
3.) now select in the layers window another layer then table A
4.) Try the zoom to selected button in the attribute table - it doesn't work. Only if layer A is selected in the layers window it works. I think it should work in both cases.
