Description
Our ST_Dump functions are great in that they work for 3D as well asn can dup out as triangles/polygons, but we have no easy mechanism to take a set of polygons that are triangles, or triangles, or a set of 3D polygons to form a polyhedral surface or TIN. I was going to call this collect, but I think Union is more appropriate since it has to consider connectivity rules.
Again didn't check SQL/MM to see if there is such a concept already
