The manual entry for ST_AsTWKB contains no reference to the format specification, which I belive is https://github.com/nicklasaven/TWKB/

OOps you're right. Yes, fully written URL would be useful for the rendering not supporting hyperlinks.
And for an official place to publish the spec it could maybe be the PostGIS repository itself ? I don't have a strong opinion about that…

Actually it does in the note-section, but maybe the address should be written and not just hidden in a link?
I thnk I should also open a twkb github so my name disapears from the address.
