Description
The documentation for shp2pgsql (Chapter 4, http://postgis.refractions.net/documentation/manual-svn/using_postgis_dbmanagement.html#shp2pgsql_usage) has outdated command-line args for shp2pgsql. The docs reference the "-r" command-line flag, which is gone. It looks like that feature has been integrated into the parameters for the -s option.
