Install MinGW

1. Download ​latest installer.

2. Choose only MSYS Base System.

3. Install MinGW (including MSYS) into C:\MinGW.

4. Modify c:\MinGW\msys\1.0\msys.bat

6. Download the latest make program compliant with the OSGeo4W framework from ​here

7. Unpack to c:\osgeo4w\apps\msys (the content of the sub-folders in the zip-files - bin, share have to be copied into the related sub-folders of c:\osgeo4w\apps\msys)

8. Close and re-open msys to reload the settings.
