OSGeo4W Installer on Windows 2008 Server

Hi,

When I use the OSGeo4W Installer I get an error that the file setup.ini couldn’t be downloaded from the site. The second installer you provide doesn’t work also. The second installer that reference the mirror download2.osgeo.org crashes.

We need the new installer because de previous version doesn’t work on a windows 2008 server. Ogr2Ogr craches when performing an export.

Yes, I'm sure. When I download the file manually there is no problem.

Perhaps you are behind a proxy server? The Express Install alternative does not give a possibility to give proxy settings but the Advanced Install does. Maybe it would be good to add proxy settings also for the Express Install.

I could perform the install using the advanced install and enable  http://download.osgeo.org/*.
