Hi,

over on the osgeo live-demo mailing list we've been discussing our infrastructure needs. I had thought we were lacking a SVN home for our config and build scripts, but apparently there is already  https://svn.osgeo.org/osgeo/livedvd, wonderful.

Before we start sending folks to this osgeo trac instance to file bugs and wishes, I thought I'd ask :) that a LiveDVD component be added to the ticket properties component list, or if that is deemed to be too noisy to investigate our subproject getting its own trac instance + svn repo. My expectation is that the ticket volume will be very small, and my understanding is that SVN allows per-directory access control, so my guess would be that we could co-exist in this trac instance with minimal impact or need for support. But maybe it is trivial to set another one up. ??

I have created a LiveDVD component with hamish as the default assignee. Setting up new trac instances, ensuring the are properly backed up, and so forth is not a trivial effort.

I have added hamish to the TRAC_ADMIN list for this trac instance in case adjustments are needed.

I have changed the default assignee to the group's mailing list address. TODO: find out if trac's outgoing notification has to be manually subscribed to the live-demo listserv in order to get around the have-to-be-subscribed-to-post check or if there is some soft of bypass already in place.
