Trac+SVN for Geoinformatica

Ari has requested an svn+trac instance for geoinformatica, and a motion has passed SAC in support of it with me (warmerdam) volunteering to do the setup. Still pending board review. Ari writes:

I have at  http://map.hut.fi/files/misc/geoinformatica.zip a package of the repository files. There's no history, it's just the tree of the files. The layout is typical(?) to subversion with all subprojects in their own subdirectories and each with their own branches, tags, and trunk subdirs.

That should be the initial import.

The committer list can be viewed, and updated (for those authorized) at:

 https://www.osgeo.org/cgi-bin/auth/ldap_group.py?group=geoinformatica

I have imported the contents of the zip file. If the structure is inappropriate, I can wipe it and reimport or leave it to you to import.

Howard, could you add it to the svnmirror, and add a note here?

I have not added the subversion instance to any other backups, as there are no instructions in this regard at  http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Subversion. I suspect it ought to be added to /root/scripts/backup_svn_incremental.sh after creating a directory, but I'm not too sure.

Trac instance created, and basic configuration completed.

"ajolma" made TRAC_ADMIN. Most further updates should be possible through the admin interface.

If you want a logo and link in the top provide a suitable logo image file, and where you want it to link to in this ticket.

No attempt made to add this trac instance to the backups. The procedures at  http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Trac_Instances does not address backup issues at all.

I'm leaving open till Howard does the svnmirror work, and we establish what backup scripts and stuff needs to be updated (and the procedures updated to note this).
