#3950 closed defect (fixed)
Cross references to php do not work (map)

Description
In mapfile/map.txt there is a cross reference to php (
:ref:`PHP MapScript <php>`
) that does not work. In mapscript/php/index.txt the label seems to be fine (.. _php:
).
If I change the label and the reference from php
to something else (for instance php_doc
), everything works fine. I have tried to find out what the problem can be. One possibility is that the presence of the file installation/php.txt is causing confusion.
Perhaps someone with more expertise in restructured text could have a look?
There are several references to php in the documentation, so if the presence of the file php.txt is the problem, the easiest solution may be to change the filename of installation/php.txt to something else (php-install.txt?)

Fixed for 6.0 and trunk documentation by changing the label to
php_mapscript
in r13305. Updated all the files that I could find containing references to php_mapscript.
