Description
Basically the same thing as #2894, but this time effecting the [shpmid*] attributes.

Steve, I missed that you updated this...
I have since written a patch for this, if you are interested it might need some cleanup, but it has been in production for about a month in a 5.4 based install.
I didn't know about centroid=true and will try that too.

Jim: You can use the shpxy tag with centroid=true to achieve basically the same result. I'll probably depricate the [shpmid*] tags going forward. Unless you see a big problem with that I'd like to mark this as "wontfix".
