Description 

There are a few places in php mapscipt where a fre is used instead of msFree 
causing crashs at run time.

I have done the fixes and would like it to be part of the 4.8.2 release.  Do 
you see any objections for me to commit it ?

I have done some tests with it on windows using gmap and a chameleon 
application.  Daniel, is it possible that someone at your end do the tests on 
linux. It is pretty crucial for us to have this in 4.8.2 so that we can use 
the same build kit as howard when distributing ms4w.

i'm now fully setup and running with howard's build environment so I will also
test Assefa's CVS changes on windows.

Everything seems fine on Linux.

change works fine for me in gmap, chameleon, and maplab.
