[PostGIS] POLYGON vs. MULTIPOLYGON defs

Description 

Using latest CVS and PostGIS 1.0.0RC2, if I define my spatial table with a
POLYGON definition, I cannot fetch data (i.e. WMS GetFeatureInfo of WFS GetFeature).

If I change to a MULTIPOLYGON definition, everything works fine, even if the
data is not meant to be represented this way.

Old old bug. Still true?
