autorendering interferes with layer selection

Reported by: msieczka Owned by: grass-dev@…
Priority: major Milestone: 6.4.0
Component: wxGUI Version: svn-develbranch6
Keywords: Cc:
Platform: All CPU: All

Description

0. Enable auto-rendering.

1. Add at min. 2 layers.

2. Toggle off the 1st one, then the other, then again toggle the 1st one on, and so on - note that both happen to be "selected, "highlited", although only one can really be.

Sorry I don't understand where you see a bug...

Well, if you repeat steps 1-2 with autorendering disabled and enabled, you should notice that with autorendering enabled more than 1 layer happens to be selected - distinguished in darker color. Of course only one can *really* be selected. More than 1 layer looking like selected is a defect.

Better use 3 or 4 layers to see the issue clearly.

  • status changed from new to closed
  • resolution set to fixed

I think this is fixed--probably in layer code rewrite of late summer. I've tested it and there is no problem with highlighting or toggling the display on/off checkbox. No ghost selection/highlight. I'm changing this to resolved. But please test further if needed.
