v.surf.rst gives bad result

Description
running v.surf.rst on grass 70svn on an AMD vishera 8 core 3.5 Ghz cpu with 8 GB RAM . Fired it up with the defaults for a section of Western North Carolina with 77 million bare earth points to create a 23 million cell 20 ft resolution grid. I will attempt to attach screenshots of completed grid and grid complete with v.surf.bspline. Region was set to output v.surf.bspline raster.

Problems were due to failing hard drive. Rerunning on new hard drive gave expected results
output raster from v.surf.rst
