Description
Looking at https://gitlab.com/geos/libgeos/branches the default branch is svn-2.1, showing a default view of GEOS from a decade ago. It should ideally be changed to svn-trunk. While I can't find any help for GitLab, it should probably be similar to Setting the default branch on GitHub.
(Issues cannot be added at the GitLab mirror, which is why I'm tracking this here.)

Default gitlab branch set to trunk, thanks for looking at that new mirror. If you want to play with the gitlab CI I'll be happy to add you as a gitlab/geos contributor (or what it takes)
