hi, i have troubles reading my landsat7 pics with gdal version 1.2.6.0. gdalinfo --formats lists "FAST (ro): EOSAT FAST Format" which means that i can read a landsat7 image i guess. trying to run gdalinfo on any of the header files of my image gives me "not recogniced as a supported file format". i am clueless. i will try to give you infos how to get the file i am working on but have to talk to the data provider first.

Unable to follow up without data or details. Various improvements have since been made to the FAST driver, so perhaps this is already fixed.
Please feel free to reopen if the problem still occurs for you with GDAL 1.4.0 and if you can provide the fast header files so we can dig into the problem.
