Description
The ECW driver supports UNITS=name (GDAL >= 1.9.0), PROJ=name, and DATUM=name creation options. Can these also be added to the ERS driver so less common coordinate systems that don't get mapped properly (i.e. http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/ticket/4208) can still be handled without having to submit a ticket?

r23028 /trunk/ (3 files in 2 dirs): ERS: add support for DATUM, PROJ and UNITS creation option; report the values read from the .ers file in the ERS metadata domain (#4229)
Note: it would still be appropriate that you file tickets when mapping from projections to the ERS/ECW codes doesn't work, at least for commonly used SRS.
