GDALRasterBand::GetCategoryNames() Does Not Work For Erdas Imagine Files

I am trying to get layer class names from Erdas Imagine Files by using
GDALRasterBand::GetCategoryNames().  But the return value is always NULL.  I
know that there exist class names on the Erdas Imagine Files I chose to test.

Could you provide a smallish sample file with category names?  Currently the
Imagine driver does not support the category names capability but I would be
willing to add it if it is not too hard, and if you are willing to test it.

I don't seem to have any sample files with category names, so I am closing
this enhancement request.
