OGR: wish for DXF support (using opendxf libs) — at Initial Version

Frank, may I propose a non-surprising wish for OGR? It were great if OGR had DXF support. Perhaps you are aware of the opendxf library which could greatly support this idea. There is an AutoCAD(tm)-like viewer which uses this library: http://lx-viewer.sourceforge.net/ (LX-Viewer is a program that will allow you to open, view and print DWG or DXF files.Files can be saved to DWG or DXF formats from AutoCAD version 2.5 to 2000.) The libs are here (they may not be bundled, though): http://www.opendwg.org So probably the LX-viewer interface could be of help for an OGR integration. Well, just one of my "great" ideas...
