I think I have worked out why sometimes fusion throws a lot of http authentication dialogs

If you access a mapguide map as the Anonymous user and then jump across to the webtier tests and try something which prompts for authentication, all the map requests then throw an authentication dialog which with a tiled map will be quite a few.....

it appears taht GETTILEIMAGE will also accept a sessionId or username/password as paraemters. Setting this on the image request looks like it will prevent the repeated auth prompts.
