Problem reading negative Int64 values

Description
If the Int64 value is negative (-1,-2 etc...) provider does not work. Strange behavior using the Fdo2Fdo tool and crashing Map3d 2011.
Error reported when using the KingFdo provider:
GetInt64 : Exception unrecognized, - objtype=void * ptr64
