Description
There is (seems to be) a filename case dependancy in the SHP provider whereby if the associated DBF file has a different case in the name or extension the schema information in the DBF is not recognised.
There are many tools that create SHP/DBF as a 'standard' GIS interchange format and several create upper-case DBF files and lowercase SHP leading to confusion and additional filename/batch processing before FDO can be used.
