= Topology Editing = [wiki:UsersWikiPostgisTopology Topology] editing is currently supported by a partial implementation of ISO SQL/MM specification functions. You can still use SQL UPDATE,SELECT and DELETE commands, but using SQL/MM functions will provide you with a more stable abstraction, will perform some checks and in some cases automatically update !TopoGeometry composition records. All SQL/MM functions have the ST_ prefix in addition to being installed under the ''topology'' schema as every other Topology object. Fully implemented editing functions are: ST_!InitTopoGeo Creates a topology, just a wrapper around !CreateTopology ST_!AddIsoNode Adds an !IsolatedNode ST_!RemoveIsoNode Removes an !IsolatedNode ST_!MoveIsoNode Move an !IsolatedNode in space ST_!AddIsoEdge Adds an !IsolatedEdge ST_!RemoveIsoEdge Removes an !IsolatedEdge ST_!ChangeEdgeGeom Updates the [wiki:UsersWikiLineStringGeometry curve geometry] of an `Edge`. ST_!NewEdgesSplit Splits an !IsolatedEdge with a new `Node`. The old !Edge will be removed and substituted with the two new `Edges` resulting from the split. Any !TopoGeometry object referring to the old !Edge will be updated to refer to the new Edges. ST_!GetFaceGeometry Returns a face [wiki:UsersWikiGeometryType Geometry]
