The final version is planned to be ready in October 2024 to be ready for FOSS4G 2024 in Bélem (Brasilia) [1].
Please have a look at our schedule for the detailed steps [2].

We are looking for new projects
For this release, we hope to help OSGeo Community projects join OSGeoLive, and work out how we can keep within our size constraints.
You are welcome to join our team!
Are you interested in joining our Open Source GIS experience? Are you a programmer or packager with experience in one of the Open Source GIS applications? Are you a technical writer interested in making FOSS4G accessible to all? Are you interested in helping update translations to latest documents on Weblate [4]?
Contact us
If you would like to add a new project or have another goal you would like to work on and get involved you are very welcome.
Please join the OSGeoLive mailing list [5] or OSGeoLive Discourse [8] meet us on Jitsi [7] at our weekly meetings (Tuesdays at 19:00 UTC).
Our wiki can be found on [6].
Documentation and translation
With this building cycle we are starting with a new category [8] on discourse.
The main focus of this category is documentation and translation. Translation is taking place on [4], and we have a basic training video [9].
We want to be able to add as many new languages to the release's documentation. Those with at least 35% will be considered for inclusion in the documentation.
If you have questions on how to add a language, please do not hesitate to ask in [8].
Pull requests for documentation are welcome in OSGeoLive's documentation github repository [10].
Documentation & translation meetings will take place on OSGeo meet for OSGeoLive [11]
