Hi, for future: write a script to install GMT on the disc. I was sucking that in with the MB System install script but in 2.0 mbsys is disabled so it was missing in the final build. in the GRASS sample data for North Carolina in /usr/local/share/grass/nc_spm_08 there are a couple of mapsets such as landsat and sqlite which should be symlinked into the home dir along with PERMANENT. in future we should do that. Hamish |

for future a couple of scripts and packages don't chown the desktop icons to the user, so the user can't delete or modify them from their own space. MapFish mapserver R.desktop also the ubiquity ("Install".desktop) one. it is in /usr/share/applications/ and already modified by setup.sh, so chmod should happen just after the sed edit. Hamish |
