Due to "I don't know how..." the "stop deegree" desktop icon doesn't do what it should. If anyone can fix it that would be super cool. Otherwise please remove the relevant part creating the stop icon from the install script. |

In the latest build of OSGeoLive 12 ISO (downloaded from http://aiolos.survey.ntua.gr/gisvm/12.0/osgeolive-12.0beta4-amd64.iso) OSGeo project deegree web services is missing under OSGeoLive 12 contents page: http://localhost/osgeolive/en/overview/overview.html The start and stop icons are present and the software runs without issues. Is there anything missing? See issue https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeolive/ticket/2047#comment:15 about the translations we have provided. |

Similar to Geonetwork degree fails to launch, primarily due to permissions which is solved by: echo user | sudo -S /usr/bin/deegree_start.sh This works great from the command line but does not seem to execute from the launcher. Does not appear to be execute permission on the launchers. NOTE:Firefox threw an error if it was already open and deegree was started. In one case an error message saying I had to wait for the current firefox to close and in the other case it opens a new tab but fails to load with a can't find page. Even though when you go to the location and hit enter it loads fine. |
