Alex, Can you please create a directory of installers at:

​http://live.osgeo.org/MacInstallers/ and ​http://live.osgeo.org/WindowsInstallers/

our docs reference the above directories

Mapbender needs short_open_tag = Off in php.ini. I would like to add the following to the install_mapbender.sh

sed -i -e 's/short_open_tag = On/short_open_tag = Off/' /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini

Do you think this is ok? Hope the change won't influence other applications.

When I want to load the example WMS from the quickstart I get Mapserver error messages:

error on units:

UNITS DEGREE

should be

UNITS DD

error on projection as 900913 is not defined in the epsg-file:

• no option found in init file

      PROJECTION
       "init=epsg:900913"
     END
