When I want to load the example WMS from the quickstart I get Mapserver error messages:

​http://localhost/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/home/user/mapserver_quickstart.map&SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetCapabilities&VERSION=1.1.1

error on units: 

UNITS DEGREE

should be 

UNITS DD

error on projection as 900913 is not defined in the epsg-file:

  • no option found in init file 
        PROJECTION
     "init=epsg:900913"
   END

Description

Simon pointed out on the mailing list that we neglected to specify which CC license the docs are under. We should clarify that with the original authors, apply the change to the docs and make sure to include the nice Creative Commons graphic that is appropriate.

Quick fix is to assume CC Attribution. Long term I would suggest we move to CC Attribution Share-Alike
