link beginner docs for linux and xfce desktop from main help page

Description
both linux and the xfce desktop are new to many users, so some links to getting started docs from the main help page would be useful.

I added a couple of links and a PDF ebook to doc/en/quickstart/osgeolive_quickstart.rst
- the xfce wiki help is pretty thin
- No two ways about it, http://ubuntu-manual.org is gorgeous
- any good links to "Getting started with the Xfce desktop" and "Getting started with Linux" would be appreciated. Free e-books we can ship are best.

on the desktop we now have "Getting started with Ubuntu 13.10" pdf ebook (Unity not LXDE)
on the main help page in "getting started with the osgeo live dvd" osgeolive_quickstart.rst, in the see also section is links to the online docs for Lubuntu and LXDE wiki.

also we should add a few paragraphs to that page stating how to connect to a samba remote shared network drive. I think we've already got the needed software on the disc, we just have to explain how to use it and perhaps add it to our list of things to test before release.
IIRC think Alex had some problems with samba(?), but for me it worked fine, ...shrug
It might be as simple as typing
smb://servername/path/to/files/into the Thunar file manager GUI.Hamish
