Iris will be hidden from docs on OSGeo-Live 11.0.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
the current quickstart is just a stub. the contents links take you nowhere. there's just a see-also back to the main site's user guide.
About the only thing I can see to do with it is start python and type "import iris", not much room for an item on the Geospatial menu there. Maybe we could auto-launch an existing ipython + Iris mini working example environment?
is there example data on the disc? what's a nice hello-world example showing off some of what the software can do in 5-10 minutes?
as it is, there's not much to show other than the overview page, but our goal is working ("live") examples not just flyer pages.
??
thanks, Hamish
