= uDig =
 
The uDig package, i.e. the User-friendly Desktop Internet GIS as of http://www.udig.eu is in the Desktop category.

Since it is selfcontained in a single folder, it is unpacked entirely into ''osgeo4w''\apps\udig.

The application can be run through:
 * its executable ''osgeo4w''\apps\udig\udig.bat
 * a desktop shortcut
 * a menu shortcut (note that this right now works only on English locale, i.e. where "start menu" is the right folder)
 * on the osgeo4w shell through the udig.bat
