= libtiff =

 * TIFF read/write library and tools
 * currently split into libtiff-bin, and libtiff-devel packages though these will likely be merged
 * Currently derived from CVS head to capture BigTIFF support (libtiff 4.0 Alpha 2)
 * IPP libjpeg compatability enabled (IPPJ_HUFF define) (see http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/JpegIPP)
 * Includes libjpeg 8/12 bit dual mode support (http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/TIFF12BitJPEG)
 * Maintained by FrankWarmerdam (C:/warmerda/osgeo4w/libtiff4 on printer computer)
