Am I just missing something? (Apologies in advance if so.) I'm logged in and looking at tickets for which I am not an owner or reporter, and I'm not seeing UI for this. The usecase which I'd particularly like support is notification for ticket ''commenters.'' This would bring (IMHO) the following advantages: 1. we can divert overly-focused or too-technical discussions from a more general-purpose maillist to the specific ticket for the issue in question, and just link to the ticket. 1. folks interested in a particular ''past'' issue can search Trac and read the ticket, rather than having to wade through a mailllist. Note that currently our maillists do not support search directly, and reading threads can get annoying when they cross month bounds (since that's how we currently archive). 1. folks who care enough to comment on an issue, or who are just interested (if we can do ad-hoc notification), can still get email notification on change. And, let's face it, most of us still have workflows that are at least partly email-driven, and that's probably not gonna change for the foreseeable future. It's possible also that we get this ""for free"" when we [https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo/ticket/1816 upgrade to Trac 1.2], but I don't know enough about that." enhancement closed normal SysAdmin/Trac worksforme notification ticket
