processLegendTemplate should be aware of STYLEITEM AUTO

Description
Currently the processLegendTemplate generates empty image for the layers with STYLEITEM AUTO and have no color specified for the class style by default.

This is a known and expected limitation of STYLEITEM AUTO and there is not much we can do about it. There was already tieket #26 about this (showing how old that issue is), I'll try to revive it for 5.2 and close this tiecket as duplicate.
