That's the spot. Is that document the "current" version (that is, 4.6?)...

It's whatever existed around January 2005, when I converted the document to reST.  Are there more 
current updates in the CVS docs?

Who knows. I say lets dump the CVS versions and have authors update docs via 
plone only. We have to cut the cord sometime... I've already started to fix the 
JOIN docs that way.

David Fawcett sent me an email saying we should cut the cord also.  I'm waiting on Kari to get back from 
vacation and get settled before I start going on a MapServer documentation rampage ;)

Also, Jeff would like to have some tools to convert the docbook -> plain text to smooth the transition to 
reST.  I've done some investigation, and while I've found leads, I don't have a solid tool yet.  I may have to 
come up with an XSLT (or have my XSLT expert do so) transformation to do it for us.

regarding updating documents on the plone site only, I have a problem with this:
take the mapfile-reference doc for example, it is uptodate on the old site, but
i have no idea how to make sure that the plone mapfile doc has all of the new
changes (i need to somehow diff the 2 docs).  So that's why I am having a hard
time keeping both uptodate.

Any suggestions?
