= Introduction =

This is a central location for documentation of the HTTP API supported by the !MapGuide mapagent process.  The APIs are segregated into groups corresponding to the web extensions service they use or expose.  Clicking on a group will display the web page describing all APIs for that group.

The Rendering Service HTTP APIs are used to render a map into a bitmapped image.  In addition to bitmap rendering, the APIs support basic updates to the underlying !MgMap object state including changes to center, scale, and layer visibility.
