    482 This project was focused mainly on the extensive Graphical User Interface refactoring necessary to prepare GRASS for Single-Window GUI. In addition to a good programming base, the simple working Single-Window GUI prototype was built as a different wx.Frame widget in a parallel environment. This frame largely copies the design (mockup) which the author proposed for the GSoC application. All main functionality was put into operation, however, the Single-Window GUI still needs a number of improvements to completely replace the current Multi-Window GUI solution.
