NVIZ. Shrinking of the surface when the surface resolution is increased
| Reported by: | clerici | Owned by: | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Priority: | major | Milestone: | 6.4.6 |
| Component: | Tcl/Tk NVIZ | Version: | 6.4.0 RCs |
| Keywords: | Cc: | ||
| CPU: | Unspecified | Platform: | Unspecified |
Description
When the resolution of the current surface is increased (both in Coarse Style and in Fine representations), the dimension of the surface is progressively reduced.
The shrinking can be better evaluated by superimposing a vector map, as in the attacched examples.
Example 1. Fine resolution =5
Example 2. Fine resolution =10

Doesn't seem to get fixed for 6.4.0.
Must be some interesting resampling code. When resolution gets decreased, borders are "floating" around instead of decreasing steady.
