Description
It would be great to have a module v.net.distance which would work like v.distance, but calculate the distance between features via a network instead of in euclidean space.
Options could probably stay more or less the same as in v.distance, but different internal algorithm, probably to be cannibalised from v.net.alloc/v.net.iso.

Module now exists in add-ons as part of the series of network modules [1] created by Daniel Bundala in his 2009 Google Summer of Code project [2].
