Map Display Window position does not remember saved position settings
Reported by: | epatton | Owned by: | martinl |
---|---|---|---|
Priority: | minor | Milestone: | 6.4.0 |
Component: | wxGUI | Version: | svn-develbranch6 |
Keywords: | Cc: | grass-dev@… | |
CPU: | x86-64 | Platform: | Linux |
Description
In 6.4 develbranch6, the Map Display window does not honor the saved position or size settings, although the GIS Layer Manager does. See attached screenshots for ideal window positions (i.e. the position of all windows when I check the box 'Save current window layout as default in the wxgui) vs. the actual window positions when I subsequently resume a Grass session.

Hmm, after a make distclean and svn up today, the problem seems to persist, whether I click 'Apply' or 'Save'; see today's screenshot.

Which version? Testing grass65 (devbr6).
- start GRASS, grass65 -wxpython
- Go to preferences and check in "Save ..."
- Change windows position (and dimension)
- Click "Save" in preferences dialog
- Quit wxGUI
- Restart wxGUI, g.gui wxpython &
Windows are properly positioned.

Whoops; my mistake. You're right, the windows are positioned properly. Thanks! Closing ticket.
