Description
GRASS GIS includes a lot of water/hydrology related modules.
it would be nice to harmonize/standardize terms over modules.
e.g.
r.stream.extract - Performs stream network extraction.
threshold=float [required]
Minimum flow accumulation for streams
Must be > 0
r.watershed - Calculates hydrological parameters and RUSLE factors.
threshold=integer
Minimum size of exterior watershed basin
AFAIU threshold is basically a value of flow accumulation.
there may be a lot of other terms which should be harmonized/standardized
